From all the research I've been able to do on the history of Perfluorocarbons from the web, OXBO seems to have chosen a smart path to bring a drug to market and has the right people to achieve this. Hopefully the FDA gives the green light & I am surprised with the casaulties of the Iraq war they haven't tried to fast track Oxycyte. The topical route also seems to be a smart way to get to market quicker and appears to have many different applications as well. I was reading that herpes is an anaerobic virus and doesn't thrive in an oxygen environment. Hopefully the company will research this in the future as I am sure that could have huge market potential as well.
